No problem, making such a transition between completely opposite patterns is difficult and most tend to make the patterns overbearing. I love the beautiful shading and the clean lines, I would love to see the colored one.

Really beautiful creature design. Even though the pattern changes, its not overbearing and you did a wonderful job making it look like a natural pattern transition. It would be really cool to see this colored. (:

Hmmmm the possibilities are endless haha. I see him as an orange-brown with tons of different shades of orange...and maybe red, and his belly and legs white...for a more realistic animal. But man. It would look awesome in more unique colors too.
